Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test Form 2026, The School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Jharkhand, through the Jharkhand Academic Council, has released the official notification for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026. Candidates preparing for government teaching jobs in the state of Jharkhand and interested in appearing for this examination are advised to fill out the application form.
The examination is conducted for two levels: Primary Level (Classes 1–5) and Junior Level (Classes 6–8). Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Elementary Education (BTC/D.El.Ed.) are eligible to apply for the Primary Level (Classes 1–5) and can also apply for the Junior Level (Classes 6–8) as per eligibility norms. Candidates who have completed a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree are eligible to apply for the Junior Level (Classes 6–8).
The online application process will begin on 21 April 2026, and the last date to submit the application form is 21 May 2026.

| Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by any recognized name), provided the candidate was admitted to the training course on or after 09.12.2007. OR
Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks and completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, recognized under NCTE Regulations, 2002, and admitted to the training course before 09.12.2007. OR Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and completed a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and completed a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
