Eligibility Criteria : UP TET Online Form 2026

UPTET Primary Level Eligibility (1 to 5)

Must have passed or be appearing in the final year of 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC) from an institute recognized by NCTE and affiliated with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. OR Must have passed Graduation from a recognized university and be appearing in or passed the final year of 2-year BTC course through distance education (for untrained graduates). OR Must have passed Graduation and be appearing in or passed the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) or Special Education (recognized by RCI/NCTE). OR Must have passed Graduation and be appearing in or passed the final year of Special BTC Training recognized by NCTE in Uttar Pradesh. OR Must have passed Graduation and be appearing in or passed the final year of 2-year Urdu Special BTC Training in Uttar Pradesh. OR Must have passed Graduation and be appearing in or passed Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University. OR Must have obtained Moallim-e-Urdu degree (before 11-08-1997) from Aligarh Muslim University (for Urdu teacher). OR Must have passed Intermediate (12th) with at least 50% marks and be appearing in or passed final year of 4-year B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education). UPTET Junior Level Eligibility (6 to 8)

Must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC) course from an institute recognized by NCTE and affiliated with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. OR Must have passed Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and be appearing in or passed the final year of B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution. OR Must have passed Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 45% marks and completed B.Ed as per NCTE regulations issued from time to time. OR Must have passed Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and be appearing in or passed the final year of B.Ed in Special Education from an institute recognized by NCTE or RCI. OR Must have passed Intermediate (12th) with at least 50% marks and be appearing in or passed the final year of a 4-year integrated B.A. B.Ed or B.Sc. B.Ed course from an NCTE/UGC recognized institution. OR Must have passed Intermediate (12th) with at least 50% marks and be appearing in or passed the final year of a 4-year B.Sc. Ed or B.Sc. B.Ed course. OR Must have passed Intermediate (12th) with at least 50% marks and be appearing in or passed the final year of a 4-year B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) course.
